About
I’m Salamat, an interior designer with a strong enthusiasm for architecture and a deep interest in how thoughtfully designed spaces can improve everyday life.
With over four years of experience across interior design, product design, and graphic design, my work is rooted in sustainable and inclusive design principles. Throughout my interior design journey, I have developed a considered approach to creating spaces that are not only visually impactful, but also functional, inviting, and long-lasting.
I am a graduate designer and an active member of the Society of British & International Interior Design (SBID). Alongside my academic background, I have gained valuable experience through freelancing, working across concept development, space planning, 3D visualisation, and client relationships. Collaborating with high-net-worth clients has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and deliver tailored design solutions.
A core focus of my work is the integration of inclusive and sustainable design within interior design and architecture. I explore and share this approach through my design projects and online platforms, using social media as a space to discuss ideas, process, and industry conversations.
Twitter, in particular, is where the fun — and the dialogue — happens.
After studying at University of the Arts London, I became confident in my direction and purpose within the design and architecture industry. I am driven to apply my skills in real-world contexts, contributing meaningful, well-considered work to the built environment.
As a creative, I see myself as my own benchmark. This mindset encourages constant growth, self-reflection, and discipline — qualities that support strong collaboration, clear communication, and thoughtful design outcomes.
